Beginning/Intermediate American Sign Language (ASL) will start with some basic and conversational signs, numbers and alphabets, and then move on to focus on sentence structure and conversation. Participants will learn more ASL vocabulary, songs and conversation skills. This class is intended to be fun and informative, designed around participants' needs and expectations. Books used for class, but not required: Sign Language Made Simple by Karen B. Lewis and Roxanne Henderson and American Sign Language Dictionary by Martin L.A. Sternberg or any ASL Dictionary.
